Capturing life's precious moments! Cameras are absolutely amazing! What would we do without them? In our world we can find beauty everywhere from a small child's smile to the wrinkles on a precious old one's face. Beauty is simply everywhere. God gave us a beautiful place to live! Have you ever wished Adam and Eve would have had a camera? Wouldn't it have been lovely to see the very first garden created by our Dear Heavenly Father! I can imagine it now... The birds flying in the brand new deep blue sky and the animals of the field grazing on the fresh green grass. The fish of the sea swimming in the clear blue ocean. Most of us love flowers and delight in their beauty. Think about this for a moment... Imagine you are in the Garden of Eden. What do you see? Do you see a rose bush? What color is it? If you look real close you won't see any thorns. Isn't that wonderful! Continue to walk through the garden. Be careful not to step on any Tulips or Daffodils! Look ahead! I believe you might see a beautiful pure White Lily! Such beauty! You might want to take a rest now ,for it is getting to be the cool of day. Do you hear something? Is that a still small voice? The voice sounds sweet and gentle yet speaks with such authority.
Look closely it is the Lord himself! There he is walking with Adam and Eve. How wonderful it must have been to walk along side Our Dear Heavenly Father and to talk with Him. I am sure you are filled with wonder and awe! As I mentioned before it would have been wonderful for them to have had a camera! Today we cherish our pictures and they are forever kept close in our hearts. Let's take a moment to think about another special person in the Bible who should have had a camera. This special persons name is Mary the Mother of Jesus. Can you imagine being able to actually see pictures of Jesus growing up! How special! Mary I am sure like every mother would have taken a lot of baby pictures. Perhaps when He took his first steps and maybe when He began to walk all on His own. What about pictures taken as He grew up to becoming a man? I am not a mother yet, but I do know the pain of losing a loved one. Do you think that when Jesus died; Mary would have gone back to look at His old baby pictures? I am sure she would have. She would go through them one by one; Her mind going back to each tender moment and scene. As she looked at one maybe with Jesus smiling; I am sure she would hear His childlike giggle. She picks up one and as she does she kisses His little rosy cheeks glowing from with the picture. Maybe He made her hand and foot prints. She touched the tender prints and her mind goes back to that old wooden cross; all she can see is the nails as they pierce her precious Son's hands. Yes, I am so thankful for cameras because it is a special thing to capture life's precious moments! Most of all I am thankful for the beautiful Artist who paints the beautiful world! God is truly the greatest artist! I hope you enjoyed this little blog post and I would love to hear from you! Please tell me what you think? In Christ Alone, Robin~just a girl lovin' Jesus and enjoying life.
