Happy Presidents Day! I remember as a little girl how we used to read about the different Presidents and do activities pertaining to Presidents Day. My favorite President is Ronald Reagan. He is my absolute favorite! He accomplished quite a lot during his presidency. You know when you come to think of it. This years election was huge and I mean it was quite "crazy." There were so many mixed feelings about the candidates. I believe there is one main thing that truly worries the American people. That one thing is campaign promises. Each candidate has their long list of promises. A lot of the promises sound well promising to the people. I have been through three presidents in my lifetime and I can tell you a lot of their promises were not kept. Therefore that causes the people to distrust in the leader of their country. There has been a lot of controversy as to whether Trump will be a "good" President. We all have our doubts as to whether or not he will live up to what he has said throughout his campaign. I pray that he will let God guide his life and the decisions that he will be making. I believe that instead of wishing things were different; we should pray for him and his family. He is our President and because I am a U.S. citizen he is my President. I may or may not agree with everything he has said or done, but God has put him in authority over us. Therefore it is my duty to respect and pray for him. I am looking forward to a good year because no matter who is President Jesus is King. God Bless America Land that I truly love!
President Dwight D. Eisenhower couldn't have said it better. Thank you for joining me today! Sincerely, Robin~ just a girl who loves to write. "Without God there could be no form of government, nor an American way of life. Recognition of the Supreme Being is the first, the most basic, expression of Americanism. Thus, the founding fathers of America saw it, and thus with God's help, it will continue to be." ~Dwight D. Eisenhower.
